Airing out our crap...

Hey...I'll try finish reading the Da Vinci Code by this weekend. I started on the first few pages before I went to sleep and it was kinda scary...so I had to put it down and read a magazine...so I'm probably gonna read that book during the daytime. =P I'm such a chickenshit.

Do you want us to help you count paintcans for New Year's Eve? Lisa offered to blow us New Year's kisses.

Oh yah...do we have plans for New Year's Eve yet???

b*tched by Devilish Angel @ 2:34 PM

Hey Lisa...I know which lil Prada baggies you're talking about...but do they have a special? Cuz I just checked the Neiman website and the facial creme that I want is $90. JEEBUS...but it's really good...so I have to buy it anyway. Seriously. Touch my face tonight...TOUCH IT!

I don't know where Ice is actually...I stole those lil club snippets from Peggy Ting's xanga...but yah...Ice sounds really cool...especially that fur room. How weird is that?

But like I said...I'm not going clubbing with my scandalous top...I don't want there to be any popping out of any body parts. I also checked the prices for Chippendales and Thunder from Down Under...and lucky us...there will be showings on the days that we are there...except...it's going to be almost $45 per person for the shows. If you guys are down...I'll be waiting outside for you cuz I don't really feel like paying that kinda money to watch oily guys run around in thongs. Olympic Gardens, however, is only $20 admission...so if you're interested in a cheaper alternative...I'll be down for that one. heh heh.

Where would you guys wanna go???

Rain in the Desert at the Palms
RAIN offers the ultimate nightclub experience, with multiple VIP areas available in the form of sky boxes (with thumbprint-screening access for members), cabana areas and water booths (where the patent leather banquettes are actually filled with water). Lavish special effects throughout the club include intelligent lighting and electrifying play of water, fire and fog. The pleasures of Rain in the Desert lie in its contradictions. Like the hotel-casino that hosts it, the club was built for locals but encourages out-of-state visitors to leave the Strip and party down. It is cavernous without feeling impersonal, is unique without being gimmicky and is elegant without being pretentious.

ICE
ICE describes itself as a meta-club. "Meta" because it changes environments throughout the club to best suite your experience. The chic 17,000-square-foot club features 40-foot ceilings and six unique environments, including a balcony overlooking the entire venue. Check out the "Fur Room," so-named for its fur-upholstered walls, or the lounge, which features a VIP area overlooking the 4,000-square-foot Brazilian walnut dance floor. Even though this club is called Ice, chances are, you'll work up a sweat grooving to the hottest tunes. Have no fear, because Ice features a unique atmospheric control system for the dance floor, provided by a liquid nitrogen special effects company.

GHOSTBAR
Located on the 55th floor of the Palms and accessible only by express elevator, ghostbar is a realm unto itself. True to its name, the bar feels as if it's floating over Vegas, a world apart from the chaos below. Three of the bar's four walls are glass, and the view through those windows - a proper 180 degrees - is absolutely breathtaking. But ghostbar is more than its view. The room is perfectly rectangular and festooned with space-age bachelor-pad furnishings; it's the best of Hollywood and Vegas combined. The crowd lounging on those silver sofas is older, but hip and energetic. Service is courteous and quick - everything you'd expect for the cover charge (between $10 and $20, depending on the day). Still, the view alone is worth the trip skyward. You'll never feel more in touch with Vegas' intangible spirit as when you're standing on the transparent glass section of ghostbar's outdoor patio, looking straight down. It's vertigo, sure, but it feels kind of good.

The hottest bar and nightclub combo in Las Vegas right now has got to be ghostbar and Rain nightclub. Operated by the n9ne group out of Chicago, the ghostbar has a similar feel to the Chi-town original. BachelorBlowOut.com recommends you arrive by 10pm to the ghostbar to throw back a martinis or two back before you head downstairs to Rain. Grab a few unsuspecting newcomers and introduce them to the death-defying glass section of the patio, where they’re sure to clutch your arm as she standing suspended 55 floors above Vegas. It's an opener like you've never had before!

As you can tell...I have nothing to do at work. Well...actually I do...but I'm lazy.

I have a recommendation...you guys HAVE to try Prada's cosmetics line. They have this moisturizer called Hydrating Gel Creme...and it makes your skin sooooo smooth. Well...at least it works on my skin. If you go to the department store that carries the line...ask for a sample. I'm going to Neiman's on Saturday to buy some products. So good I tell you! My face feels like a baby's arse.

Okay...these are my plans for the weekend then...to clear up any confusion.

Friday night will be spent on a romantic date with Roller...watching LOTR.

Saturday morning...I'll be getting my car washed...then probably head over to Neiman's. Then I guess since we're not having afternoon tea...I'll be going to the spa from 2PM - 6PM in Pasadena. I have no plans whatsoever at night...so if you guys want to have dinner or a chill night...let me know...my house is open to all till the middle of January. On second thought...we can try going to Yard House in Pasadena...MmMMmMMMmmm...pear cider...*DROLL* haha.

Sunday...again...no plans...but I'm probably going to end up doing chores and housework and then in the evening's Kathleen's bday party.

I kinda wanna go clubbing...but I don't want to dirty my pores after a day at the spa at a stuffy nightclub. =P

b*tched by Devilish Angel @ 4:53 PM

Hey...I was going to make a reservation for tea at 3:30PM - 4PM....but that's cuz I probably won't be out of the spa until 3ish...I think tea time goes from 2-5PM or something like that. I'm not sure. Where do you guys wanna go for tea?

Carol...I was thinking about going to Neiman's on Sunday or something. Is that cool with you? If not...we can try to go after the afternoon tea party...but I don't know what time they close.

hahaha...CHRISTmas Eve spent at a strip club...how un-pagan. Are we all wearing our santa hats again this year? Carol...I have the Crown Royale baseball cap to match your Budweiser Santa hat. HAHAHAHAHA...

b*tched by Devilish Angel @ 3:03 PM

I get off of work on the 24th at 5PM. I'll drive to Vegas if you guys wanna find a ride over to my office...cuz my office is closer to our destination than from back home. I'm sure the theater in El Paseo has the movie playing.

Anyway...so today...I decided to have lunch with my cousin at Souplantation. I arrived at 12:45PM and she still wasn't there yet...so I was like...okay...I'll take a seat and wait. Then guess who walks in? Lisa...it was your man...with all his co-workers. Then my cousin calls and tells me that she'll be really late...so I told her that I'd just meet her for lunch some other time...and I was about to leave...but Arthur asked me to eat with his co-workers...which was totally fine with me cuz I was freakin STARVING. But my cousin finally made it after 20 minutes...but let me tell you...if any of you girls are interested...I'll hook you up with Arthur's co-workers. hahaha. Alice...you like them "smart-looking" right?

*sigh* I love euphemisms.

b*tched by Devilish Angel @ 2:23 PM

I'm down for the Lord of the Rings on Friday...but are YOU gonna be up for it, Roller?

How much is an Entertainment Book? I'll support you if it's not too expensive. As for the Linkin Park tickets...I checked the seats and they're REALLY far back...but it's the same price ticket throughout the whole stadium. Check ticketmaster and the pre-sale password is LPFanLAF. I think tickets are $34.50...even for nosebleeds.

I want to eat CCC, LISA!!! I haven't had it in sooooo long. But if you don't want to go there...I wouldn't mind eating at a sit-down restaurant either...I miss being served. I don't think Thunder from Down Under is opened on Xmas Eve or Xmas cuz I remember looking it up last year...that's why we didn't go. My friend told me that there's this strip club for guys and girls called the Olympic Gardens or something of that sort...where the guys perform upstairs and downstairs are the stripper ladies. But if we go clubbing...be prepared to pay lots of money...remember Light at Bellagio? Yah...SICK...let's not go there ever again!

I'm gonna go to Burke Williams spa on Saturday...so if any of you are interested...let me know. Afterwards, I thought it would be nice if we went out for some afternoon tea whether it be at the Malibu Ritz or Huntington Library...whadday'all think? Oh...btw...I need to go to Neiman's this weekend...so if anyone wants to go...let me know.

Alright...bad news about Linkin Park...

Because I found out about the concert so late...the only seats they have left are the nosebleeds...and the tickets aren't even opened to the general public yet!

So Carol...are you still down???

b*tched by Devilish Angel @ 4:19 PM

Wow Alice...I think you start writing President Bush's speeches...but then again...he might mess up the words cuz he's just that verbally handicapped. Yes, I know that Saddam has butchered many many people, but I can't help but feel sorry for him. I can't even watch the news when his picture flashes up...a once very powerful man now looks like a bum from the streets of SC...(South Central that is...)

As for the food at Delmonico's...I guess it depends on what you order...so far...everything that I've ordered has been pretty good...except for the shrimp & scallop risotto. Well...either way...we can go for dessert or appetizers or drinks...which still sounds good to me. heh heh.

Okay...so here's the announcement. Linkin Park's having a concert at the Great Western Forum on February 6, 2004 at 7PM. I think that's a Friday. So yah...Carol...let me know!!!

b*tched by Devilish Angel @ 3:14 PM

You know...even though it's supposed to be a relief that Saddam has been captured, I can't help but feel horrible about it. I mean, look at the way they found him...in a hole...and he was all scraggly. Apparently his first words were, "I am Saddam Hussein and I am willing to negotiate." And this man lost his two sons and the respect of his country. Quite sad that he's so broken and torn apart. *sigh*

And I still think that Bush is an idiot and an oil tycoon that wants to take over the world...but can't cuz of his stupidity. Ugh....UGH!

b*tched by Devilish Angel @ 1:12 PM

Okay...I was sorting out mail this afternoon and I came across this thick booklet that says "2004 California Employers Guide". I didn't think much of it and put it aside. After I sorted thru all the mail, I looked at the booklet again and TOTALLY did a double take. GUESS WHO WAS ON THE COVER!

HAHAHAHAHAAHAHA...it was Andy Yeung! I guess it was from one of his modeling jobs and they decided to use his picture. Talk about catching me off guard. Imagine opening the mail to find your friend's face staring back at you on one of the pamphlets. =P

In other news...this morning...I was TOTALLY ragged on about the Xmas Dinner on Friday. Ooooohmigoodness. Apparently, the waiter that was serving us told my co-workers that the only person he'd give free drinks to is me. And apparently he told Iraq that he thought I was cute. Iraq was teasing me about the waiter...but I had no idea it was cuz of what he said. AHHHHHHHHHH!!! How embarrassing. They were all cracking up soooo hard. But anyway...let's take advantage of this and have dinner there. Maybe we can get hook ups. hahaha...25% off doode! Sounds good?

b*tched by Devilish Angel @ 12:36 PM

I thought we were going to go to Europe in the fall?

Oh well...whatever...it's a Monday...and though I have tons to do...I feel really relaxed cuz both bosses are out of the country! HOORAY!

Carol...let me just say...you totally missed out on the Sound of Music. It was by far the BEST musical I have ever seen. I even tried giving them a standing ovation but my jacket almost fell to the floor so I had to sit back down. And though I was the only one making the attempt to give a standing ovation, I knew that Lisa and Alice looooved the show. Especially the lil nazi postman in his tight tight shorts. He pirouetted like a pro across the stage. =P
